Fr. Joe’s Appeal for Continued Support

Dear parishioners,

I pray you are healthy and safe.
It is not easy to live our faith in isolation. We are a parish, and we strived to live as a community of believers.

We live our faith now and celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit during this unique time. This is a strange and wonderful time to be Catholic. The Pope’s blessing to the “City and to the Word” on Friday was truly inspiring. He walked up those steps as a lone figure, yet we all walked with him. Although separated we are one.

I have tried to share some hope with you through your email address. I pray that they give you some encouragement during this time.

COVID-19 has posed many challenges to our parish, including offertory funds lost due to the suspension of Mass. Your offertory gifts support salaries of parish staff members, programs and ministries, maintenance of our buildings and grounds, and many other vital components of our parish life.

I ask you to continuing financially supporting our parish during this time.

You can give online through our parish web site……., by mailing in your giving envelope, or by dropping it in the mail slot at the parish office. Another new option is to use PayPal.

I’m grateful and am always inspired by you generous support.

I know we will emerge from this situation even stronger as a faith community, and I pray for the day that we can again share the Holy Sacrifice of the Sunday Mass as a family! On behalf of our parish staff and all who benefit from your ongoing generosity, I thank you for your consideration of this request and for all you do for St. Dunstan Parish.

Yours in Christ,

Fr. Joe
